Archive is designed and developed in Vancouver, with specialist footwear and leather goods makers across Canada. Each brings deep technical knowledge to the work, allowing us to stay close to the materials and the making.
We work in small runs rather than mass production. It means fewer pieces, more attention and a closer relationship with the people making them.
How to Access a Volume
Our production follows the pace of the tannery and the workshop. When a new Volume is ready, production is limited to what we can make properly.

2. Get Early Access
Subscribers receive a private link 48 hours before the public release.
3. Place Your Order
Once the public release opens, remaining pieces are available until the run is allocated.
Made to order.
Keeping the run this small allows us to focus on build quality, material integrity, and finishing rather than excess inventory. Pieces are made to order, with a process built around precision and typical lead times of two to four months.
Fitting & Specs
Once your order is placed, we’ll contact you to confirm your sizing and material choices. We’ll send you a sizing kit to ensure precise measurements. For Vancouver customers, in-person fittings are also available.
Material Sourcing
We secure leather and hardware with intention, ordering exact quantities to match each production run. We source the best components from around the globe, so this step can't be rushed.
Workshop Production
Your piece enters the workshop, where the leather is cut, assembled, stitched, and finished by hand. This is the most time-intensive part of the process, and the place where the build really takes shape.
Final Inspection
During final quality control, we hand-finish fine details, condition the leather, and inspect the structure to ensure every piece is perfect before shipment.
Fulfillment
Once complete, your piece is packed and dispatched for delivery. The moment your piece leaves the bench, we will dispatch a workshop log complete with your tracking details.
Permanent Collection
Throughout the year, we maintain a small rotation of always-available, made-to-order pieces, handcrafted with the same bench-led precision we’ve applied since day one.
