Care Guide
Heirloom-quality leather is a living material that rewards discipline. By regularly conditioning your pieces, you aren’t just preserving the hide; you’re guiding the patina.

Step 1 | Prep
Tools: Horse Hair Brush & Damp Cloth
Before applying any product, use a stiff-bristled horse hair brush to knock away dried mud and dust, paying close attention to the welts and seams. Follow this by wiping the entire surface with a clean, slightly damp cloth to remove remaining fine particles. Let the leather air dry completely before moving to the next step.

Step 2 | Clean
Tools: Leather Cleaner & Dry Cloth
This step removes old wax buildup and surface oils, allowing the leather to properly absorb the conditioner. Apply a small amount of leather cleanser to a clean cloth. Rub in a circular motion across the leather. This is a potent cleanser—it is designed to strip the surface back to its natural state. Let the boots sit for 15 minutes.

Step 3 | Nourish
Tools: Leather Lotion & Dry Cloth
Leather loses its natural oils over time, which leads to cracking. This lotion replenishes those oils to keep the hide supple. Apply the Leather Lotion sparingly with a cloth. Massage it into the grain and let it sit for 5–10 minutes to allow for full absorption.

Step 4 | Finish
Tools: Horse Hair Brush
Once the lotion has settled, the leather needs a quick buff to set the finish and remove any residue. Use your brush to buff the surface with brisk, light strokes. This removes any excess lotion and brings out a natural, clean luster without adding a heavy shine.

Step 5 | Protect
Tools: Waterproofing Spray
This is the final layer of defense against water, salt, and stains. Spray a light, even coat of Super Invulner from about 20cm away. This provides a water-repellent barrier while keeping the leather breathable.
