Lookout Case

Handcrafted in Canada.

Sale price$200

The Lookout Case is engineered to be a permanent fixture of your daily toolkit; a robust, highly-structured silhouette that offers uncompromised protection for your frames. Cut from the same striking horsehide leathers as the Camp Moc, the case has a distinct presence and is built to endure the friction of constant use.

The choice of material is deliberate; horsehide's exceptional density provides a natural, rigid shield for your glasses, while its rich grain is primed to patina uniquely with every handling. Finished with pinking to match the shoes, solid brass hardware, and hand-burnished edges, this commanding piece is designed to outlast the gear it protects.

Daily Protection

Volume 02 is a limited made-to-order run.

Keeping the run this small allows us to focus on build quality, material integrity, and finishing rather than excess inventory. Every case is made to order, with a process built around precision and a lead time of approximately 2 months.

Material Sourcing: We secure the leather, lining, and hardware needed for the run, ordering with intention and based on the exact number of cases in production.

Workshop Production: Your piece enters the workshop, where the leather is cut, assembled, stitched, and finished by hand. This is the most time-intensive part of the process, and the place where the build really takes shape.

Finishing and Inspection: Each case moves through final finishing and quality control, where the details are checked, the structure is reviewed, and the piece is prepared for shipment.

Fulfillment: Once complete, the case is packed and dispatched for delivery.

A Note on the Variables

Our pieces are built through focused partnerships and a domestic network of makers. This model allows for extreme precision, but it also means we are beholden to the honesty of the materials and the patience of the artisan. We do not believe in shortcuts. If a timeline extends, it’s a reflection of our refusal to compromise the structural integrity of your Volume. While we’ll prioritize maintaining delivery dates, we’ll remain in close contact with you if any dates are shifted.

Archive is a Canadian leather goods company focused on making fewer, better things. Our boots and leather goods are produced in small runs through a domestic network of makers who bring deep expertise to the craft. The goal isn’t endless newness — it’s pieces that hold up, wear well, and remain worth keeping years down the line.
