Chabanel Dopp Kit

Handcrafted in Canada.

Sale price$350.00

The Chabanel Dopp Kit is built for the small routines that travel puts under pressure. It keeps your toiletries and essentials together, protects what is inside, and holds its shape through repeated use without taking up more room than it should. Sized with intentional proportions, it is designed to slip seamlessly into the interior of our matching Weekender Bag.

Cut from Horween Essex and handcrafted in Canada, it brings the restraint and material depth necessary for a piece built to be handled often. Over time, the leather marks, softens, and develops the kind of character that only comes from being packed, unpacked, and used properly.

The Dopp Kit is sized to carry the essentials without taking over your bag. Structured enough to protect what is inside, compact enough to travel well. It is built for hotel counters, early departures, overpacked carry-ons, and the kind of travel where utility matters as much as appearance.

The proportions are intentional, and this is leather that takes on use honestly. This piece will soften, mark, and deepen with every trip.

Built for Travel

The Chabanel Collection is made-to-order.

Every piece in the collection is made to order, with a process built around precision and a lead time of approximately 2 months. This approach allows us to focus on build quality, material integrity, and finishing rather than excess inventory.

  1. Material Sourcing: We secure the leather, lining, and hardware needed.
  2. Workshop Production: Your piece enters the workshop, where the leather is cut, assembled, stitched, and finished by hand. This is the most time-intensive part of the process, and the place where the build really takes shape.
  3. Finishing and Inspection: Each piece moves through final finishing and quality control, where the details are checked, the structure is reviewed, and the piece is prepared for shipment.
  4. Fulfillment: Once complete, your piece is packed and dispatched for delivery.
A Note on the Variables

Our pieces are built through focused partnerships and a domestic network of makers. This model allows for extreme precision, but it also means we are beholden to the honesty of the materials and the patience of the artisan. We do not believe in shortcuts. If a timeline extends, it’s a reflection of our refusal to compromise the structural integrity of your piece. While we’ll prioritize maintaining delivery dates, we’ll remain in close contact with you if any dates are shifted.

Archive is a Canadian leather goods company focused on making fewer, better things. Our boots and leather goods are produced in small runs through a domestic network of makers who bring deep expertise to the craft. The goal isn’t endless newness — it’s pieces that hold up, wear well, and remain worth keeping years down the line.
