Ten years after its original launch, we are returning to one of Jules's foundational silhouettes. The LJL Chelsea Boot maintains the proportions of the original 1984 pattern while expanding materials and finishes. Strictly made-to-order from our Vancouver workshop, each pair reflects the slow, uncompromising standards of traditional handcraft.

Built to absorb decades of wear and weather, this boot develops character with friction and time. Choose from Horween Dublin or C.F. Stead Waxy Commander leathers, then personalize your pair with your choice of outsole, an optional leather-covered gusset (+$200 CAD), and classic LJL logo embossing.

Rather than treating footwear as a decorative status piece, we build with repairability in mind. Every pair is lasted, finished, and verified by hand.

Timeline

The footwear in the LJL Collection is made-to-order with a lead time of approximately six months. Our small production team builds each pair to your size and configuration.

Sizing

Available in a comprehensive range of widths to suit different foot profiles. Once your order is placed, we’ll contact you to confirm your sizing and material choices. We’ll send you a home sizing kit to ensure precise measurements. Vancouver customers can also arrange an in-person fitting.
